John and Gabriel... by Diablito77 John and Gabriel... by Diablito77
Just a little something. I haven't done some real fun art lately and this one flowed out in a hour or so. I love the movie Constantine so I thought I'd do a fanart pic of John Constantine and Gabriel. It's not exact but I don't care. Thanks for taking a look.

I love the subtle detail and dark contrast! you didn't skimp by doing a lot of crosshatching, just minimal stuff with lots of black. Love it! :D

Thanks! I feel that B&W art that stands alone is being pushed to the wayside so I do my best to draw something that can stand up in pure B&W. I try, but sometimes I don't make it. I think I came pretty close on this one. :D

me too! I had to learn how to use color more actually...hahaha... my preferred media for traditional was charcoal, conte crayon or just ballpoint pen. Black & White compositions are underrated in my opinion.
